EMC web based service is launched to fill the financial and econometric information gap that exists when making sound investment decisions pertaining to the Emerging Markets by the global investor.  The service will service investment professionals, individuals, academics and news media.

Objectives

The site compiles and aggregates sourced content from various contributors, both within and outside the Emerging Economies.  The purpose is to present an integrated, comprehensive and diversified view into the Emerging Markets.  News, commentary, analysis, pricing data and fundamental research are assembled in way to enable a summary and related detail review of the emerging markets.  All in a well-edited and convenient format for global investors, multinational managers and academics.

Mission

Launched in June of 1996 by Paul Cilia and Chris Saxman, EMC was recognized, reviewed and highly rated by the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Barrons, SmartMoney and many other financial publications. The basic service provides news, closing prices and research from the major emerging markets financial and regional centers and global money centers. 

EMC has formed partnerships with major participants within the Emerging Markets, in order to provide readers concise and relevant information. In the near future, EMC will offer a premium service containing daily prices, news, commentary, 3rd party research, analytics and investment strategies, latest updates from contributors residing within the local markets and money centers.
